On the occasion of the International Day for Women’s Rights, the Association Femmes d’ici et d’ailleurs organized, with the support of the City of Angers, the Egali’Terre Festival around the theme of equality between men and women and the place of women in the world. The rich program of shows, round tables, screenings and workshops was intended for a wide audience. A special evening dedicated to the action of the non-profit association The Children of Panzi and elsewhere was organized. Following the screening of Thierry Michel’s film The Man Who Mends WomenCathleen de Kerchove took part in a round table and was able to explain how EPA organizes the holistic care of children who are victims of sexual violence and/or born of rape in armed conflict. The funds collected during the Festival will be generously donated to the benefit of the action of EPA.

Cathleen de Kerchove thanks the organizers of the Festival on behalf of The Children of Panzi.
